HANDYMAN SUPER HERO:

JOB INCLUDES:

Maintenance on suites/building:

• Light plumbing- tightening leaks, replacing toilet mechanisms, replacing disposals
• Light electrical- replacing bulbs, replacing light fixtures, replacing bathroom fans
• Painting- touch up occasionally or assist in painting projects (painting an entire suite, for example)
• Landscaping- keeping the property completely weed free. Sweeping parking lot, cleaning air conditioning compressors, troubleshooting/repairing sprinklers
• Custom furniture build/repair- building bed frames (occasionally), repairing furniture (sanding, gluing, staining, etc)
• Pest control- we have the supplies- just need to apply according to schedule
• Making supply runs- picking up orders from Lowes, Sherwin Williams, etc
• Moving furniture and hanging pictures (occasionally)
• Building maintenance- servicing fireplaces, replacing air filters and smoke detectors, replacing screens
• Repairing damages by guests- rehanging pictures, repairing furniture
• New Remodels/Builds
• Help with remodels of current suites
• Help to build new ones (including our current project- a tiny house!)

Time Expectations:

We have about 25-35 hours/week of work for sure, but for the right person, we could take as little as 15 or use as much as 40.
When you are hired, we will set up a schedule that works for you/us and stick to that. Occasional off hours emergency back up help will be needed.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (This job is not exceedingly strenuous)

Housekeeping  Position:

Aspenwood Manor is a small business in HOSPITALITY in Provo, UT. We are customer-centric and creative.

We need an assistant housekeeper to help at our small boutique inn. This is not your normal hotel housekeeper job! Our team is small, and we know our guests by name. We take care of each other and our guests with love and loyalty.    

You'd be a great member of our team if you:

• love caring for people
• can clean a house to impress anyone's in-laws
• have a clean record (no criminal issues), and no smoking/drugs
• are dependable and trustworthy
• love improving systems
• appreciate being part of a small but awesome family business
• are looking for a position to hold for at least 1 year
• have reliable transportation and cell service

Duties include:

• HOUSEKEEPING
• Deep cleaning guest suites after departure
• Provide weekly linen service for long term guests
• Reporting any damage or maintenance needs
• Assisting in the laundry system (it's a team effort)
• Occasional light property maintenance (light weeding/changing light bulbs)

Available work hours are between10am-5pm and we can be flexible on which days and how many hours you want to work. 

You must be willing to work at least 2 Saturday/Sundays per month if needed (some months there are no Sunday assignments). Work between 15-35 hours per week (you let us know what you'd like).  

Applicant MUST:

• Be extremely dependable (you will be signing a contract and one no-show= losing the job)
• Be honest (you will be working alone sometimes)
• Have a clean record and incredible references
• Enjoy cleaning and taking care of guests
• Have flexible hours
• Have courteous and proper language
• Be willing to work under occasional pressure
• Be willing to commit to work for at least a year (summer part-time is possible but not ideal)
• No smoking, drinking or drugs (obviously). No visible tatoos on neck, face and hands.

Bonus (but not required) points if you:

• have housekeeping experience
• want to have a bed and breakfast yourself someday
